Into It 77: Steven Universe (Chapter 2) with Juliet Kahn

A year and a half ago, Juliet Kahn was our guest for INTO IT 20, in which we talked at great length about Steven Universe. So many episodes have aired since then that we decided it was time for a follow up, to talk about all the things we didn't know, character we hadn't met, and things that have changed. So that means Bismuth, the Ruby squad, Peridot the adorable clown, and lots more.

Into It 49: Justice League with Katie Schenkel

Writer and podcaster Katie Schenkel is here to talk about the animated classic Justice League, including its revamped incarnation as Justice League Unlimited. Flash (specifically Wally West) is the best, Hawkman is the worst, and superheroes, especially Superman and Batman, should be friends. Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman, Amanda Waller, and Catwoman (who's not even in this series) are also the best.

Follow Katie on Twitter and read her piece about the importance of Supergirl and Jessica Jones on ComicsAlliance.

Into It 39: Homestar Runner with Max Tohline

Professor and critic Max Tohline is here to talk about Homestar Runner, the cartoon we were all watching on our computers before watching things on our computers felt normal. The nostalgia for outdated technology, the most popular inside joke of all time, and scenes from the class struggle in Teen Girl Squad. Eh Steve does not appear in this episode.

Devon Koren Alley is back to talk about Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, which leads to a wider conversation about the legacy of Fred Rogers. Secular ethics for toddlers, diversity of family structures, and Elle talks about puppetry a lot. You may never have watched Daniel Tiger, but if you were ever a Mr. Rogers fan you should absolutely listen to this episode.

Into It 24: Pokémon with Aisling the Artist

Artist and student Aisling, who also happens to be Elle's goddaughter, is on the show to talk about Pokémon. Aisling has played every game in the series, but Elle's only played one of them. Aisling prefers not to discuss things in terms of favorites, but Elle has a hard time discussing things any other way. Which Pokémon are overrated, and why video game movies are never a good idea.
